ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Golf fans can now secure their spot for the inaugural Biltmore Championship Asheville, which will bring PGA TOUR competition back to Western North Carolina this fall.

Tournament organizers announced that tickets are now on sale for the event, scheduled for Sept. 17-20 at Cliffs at Walnut Cove, a Jack Nicklaus-designed course known for its mountain scenery, elevation changes and challenging layout.

The tournament is part of the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Fall schedule, a series of events that can play a critical role in determining players’ status for the following season. With PGA TOUR cards and future opportunities on the line, organizers say fans can expect a week of meaningful competition.

The championship also aims to showcase Asheville’s culture, featuring local food, craft beverages and a fan experience inspired by the region.

In addition to the golf, the event will include a community-focused fundraising effort through Birdies for Charity, a program that allows local nonprofits to raise money and awareness. Tournament officials said 100 percent of donations made through participating charities will go directly to those organizations.

Several ticket options are available, including daily grounds passes that provide access to public viewing areas and fan experiences throughout the course.

Fans looking for an upgraded experience can purchase access to the Wicked Weed Tavern at the Turn, a hospitality venue overlooking the ninth fairway that includes complimentary beer, seltzers and soft drinks. Food will be available for purchase.

Families will also receive a break on admission costs. Each ticketed adult may bring up to two children ages 15 and younger free of charge. In hospitality areas, children ages 6 and younger will be admitted free.

A limited number of premium hospitality packages remain available, including private suites and shared hospitality venues with enhanced viewing opportunities. Organizers are also offering Official Pro-Am experiences, allowing participants to play alongside PGA TOUR professionals during tournament week.

The Biltmore Championship Asheville marks the PGA TOUR’s return to the mountains of Western North Carolina and is expected to draw golf fans from across the region.
