ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The first Downtown After 5 concert of the year, “Stomp and Holler Night,” will be held next weekend at Pack Square Park, located in the center of downtown Asheville.

The all-ages Asheville Downtown Association event is open to the public from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 80 Court Plaza. The free show will be headlined by Sam Burchfield with an opening set by Hillclimbers and Friends.

Each Downtown After 5 concert is partnered with a local nonprofit. This month, the partner will be ReMix It, “a creative reuse nonprofit dedicated to inspiring creativity, reducing waste and building community by providing access to affordable, reclaimed art and craft materials for all ages,” wrote the ADA on their website.

In addition to the music, food and beverage vendors and a local crafts market will be on-site at the event.
