Drug trafficking suspect hit with laundry list of felony charges

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Jacob Lee Beasley, 36, was arrested by Asheville Police Department officers today on 12 different charges, many for drug trafficking.

According to an APD press release, Beasley was apprehended by officers during proactive crime prevention patrol on Asheville Housing Authority property.

Officers took Beasley into custody around 1:31 a.m., Thursday, May 21 at the Ashton Park Garden Apartments.

Beasley was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under no bond by a magistrate.
