ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Biltmore Championship Asheville announced Tuesday the launch of its inaugural community grant program aimed at supporting nonprofit organizations in Buncombe County focused on sustainability and the arts.

Applications open July 1 and run through July 31, 2026. The program will award two $10,000 grants, one supporting conservation and sustainability initiatives and the other supporting creative arts and cultural programming.

Organizers said the effort is intended to ensure the tournament’s impact extends beyond the course ahead of its Sept. 17-20, 2026, debut in Asheville.

“As we build this event in Asheville, it’s important that we’re also investing in the community around us,” said Nate Goldsnider, event director for the Biltmore Championship Asheville. “This program gives us a way to support the organizations already doing great work across Buncombe County.”
